I feel very lucky to be in the heart of the vibrant art community here, in historic Flemington, NJ. My studio is a primarily working space. Here I design and createone-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces in metal, enamels, beads and gemstones. Having worked as a research scientist for more than 25 years, I was always inspired by nature. My work is a joyful reflection of the forms and colors found in the world around us.
Twice a year, in spring and fall, studio hosts an Open House Show and Sale. Check the Shows page for details.
My favorite techniques are wax carving, lost wax silver casting, PMC and a combination of hot and cold connections for the “Radiolaria”, the microscopic life inspired series. The body of work from the “Garden” series, inspired by bright birds and flowers, is predominantly made with enameling on metal shapes, hand cut, altered and formed. Many pieces throughout the series share the features designed with cold connected natural faceted beads.
